Below are links to a variety of data sets related to prices of vaccines, as published by or paid by the entities below.

  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This list provides the price for vaccines under CDC contracts and well as private sector vaccine prices (for general information). The CDC contracts purchase vaccines for immunization programs that receive CDC immunization cooperative agreement funds (i.e., state health departments, certain large city immunization projects, and certain current and former U.S. territories).
  • Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This spreadsheet indicates the prices paid for vaccines by the VA under the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Service contracts, which are multi-year procurement awards.
  • Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This spreadsheet provides information on Medicare Part D spending, including data on vaccine prices, from 2014-2018. From CMS, “Drug spending metrics for Part D drugs are based on the gross drug cost, which represents total spending for the prescription claim, including Medicare, plan, and beneficiary payments. The Part D spending metrics do not reflect any manufacturers’ rebates or other price concessions as CMS is prohibited from publicly disclosing such information.”
  • Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO). This page lists the prices paid for vaccines under the PAHO Revolving Fund: Expanded Program of Immunization.
